Glad that car is long gone, new car is much more refined, same power at 750hp and probably the last Mustang I’ll ever buy.

I needed one when mine shattered due to the known input shaft issue but they didn't have one available to send to my dealership to replace mine so they ended up rebuilding it which I thought was absolutely wrong. Now I see why I wasn't able to get one, those who were just going to store their spares got priority over those of us who were driving them. Even a personal plea by me to someone who got one to store it went unanswered.

When mine had issues in Jan. of 2008, there were no parts or TSB available to fix it so Ford sent me a new one and used mine for R&D to develop a TSB. I asked to have my old one back when they were done with it since it had my VIN stamped on it. On 8/8/08 they came out with a TSB and then authorized Ford to install that on my replacement transmission and my original transmission. On 8/2/12 I purchased all the parts for the 2010 clutch system & had that installed. This history of all this work is still listed in my signature block.
