2020 Shelby GT500 Mustang Spotted! Twin Turbo V8 Powered? Huge Pilot Sport Cup tires. Big cross-drilled Brembos. Serious Aero...
2020 Shelby GT500 was spied leaving Ford's Dearborn Development Grounds!
This mule is riding on aggressive Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires, and featured Brembo brakes with cross-drilled rotors. In the rear it
shows a large fixed wing and quad-tipped exhaust similar to the GT350.
The S550 GT500 prototype disguises a modified front end that will surely build upon the expected 2018 Mustang cosmetic refresh ...deep breathing intakes and an aggressive bulging hood hiding its forced induction powers underneath.
One thing that could be very telling on this prototype is a windshield sticker that reads "TT-0081" which is the same TT designation that has been spotted on Ford's SVT Raptor pickups which also uses a twin-turbocharged engine (gen-2 3.5 EB TT
With a 650HP ZL1 and a 707HP Hellcat, a GT500 with 750+HP would be a most welcome competitive factory smack-down!
Then again, could it be an AWD GT350 variant with the rumored gen-2 3.5 EB TT. Tho no sound was recorded, shooter says V8!!
[edit:] New GT500 will be a 2020, not 2018...
