Jan and I went out to the lighthouse today to coll off and catch some rays, and the guy with the Amphicar was there with his family -- just as cool as they ever were in 1964!! ;-)

Used to see a few of those around here when I was young. Funny to see cars with propellers.

There was one at the Barrett Jackson auction in January. We could have used it to get around since it never stopped raining :).

...yeah, that was the first thing that hit me when I was looking at it.
He said he bought it in '94 and they've enjoyed it a lot on the river.

That's a beauty, Tony ...looks like a bit newer ...maybe a '67 or so?
I just looked to see that BJ sold a rotisserie '64 for $124,200!! Yikes!
