Porn Sites Get Their Domain

It will be much easier for companies to block porn sites with the creation of the .XXX top level domain. This is something that is long overdue in my opinion. ICANN just approved this domain.

2 things with this. Will allow kids to find them easier it seems and if they choose not to use the .xxx then the block on .xxx dosen't work.

That is why parents need to use content filtering. We know kids learn computers very quickly and the parents need to try to stay ahead of them and monitor what they are doing.

This is pretty much a non-event for the adult industry as .com will continue to dominate due to search and analytic protocols.

Adult companies, like Playboy etc., may add the .xxx domain as supplementary domains, but most will continue to promote the .com addresses.

This ruling only applies to the state of California too, and Mr. Lawley's revenue projections are optimistic. IMO
