Ford promised some time ago they'd keep the V10 around for fleet/chassis-cabs and are making good on that by also mating it up to the new bullet-proof 6 speed TorqueShift tranny shipping with 2012 SuperDuty.

Ford will be the only manufacturer offering a gas engine in classes 1 thru 7 for those wanting to save some $$$ vs the 6.7 diesel.

The V10 3V seems otherwise unchanged.

With this addition, Ford will be the only manufacturer to offer a gas-powered vehicle in every truck class from 1-7, giving customers a lower-cost option in each segment
Orders for the new gas-powered chassis cab will open in the fourth quarter of 2011
