View Full Version : Stew's Baseline (Stock) Dyno Numbers
I had dyno time scheduled for tomorrow, but the shop called and said they had an opening today so I put her on the rack. The temperature was 79 degrees and the relative humidity was 85%. The max HP number was 488.46 and the max Torque was 462.11. I actually got the highest HP on the third pull. The C&R H/E with the dual fans and the larger H/E coolant tank really help keep the temps down. Probably could have hit 500 HP if the humidity was a little lower, but not to shabby for a stock GT500 and a good baseline for the future mods. :weg:

Great numbers Stew......I guess SA needs to get some mods done to get his up to where yours is at or wait for a cooler day and comapre numbers.
Nice numbers...
What's this?
FMS intake resonator

FMS intake resonator
The 2010's and 2011's have a muffler right after the cold air intake to quite the supercharger noise to reduce the overall NVHs (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) of the GT500's. The resonator allows you to use a strut tower brace and allows the S/C to sing like it should. It's not a performance mod, just allows me to hear the S/C whine. I will take a pic of the resonator and the muffler, and I will post them in a few. FMS - Ford MotorSport
Here is the stock "muffler"

and here is the FMS resonator.

His isn't stock since he modified the cooling systems. Van's system is very efficient hence his higher numbers, plus he had cooler ambient temps....so bite me....
Very nice Stew.

Very nice Stew... What is a c&r HEAR exchanger like in your sig? Where is it mounted and what gains can one expect..

Hmmm, maybe I should give in to kid #4 and then I can get a Raptor too. NOT!!!!
I wonder how the Raptor would do on the dyno. 400????

The 6.2 is 412bHP but I am waiting for some performance upgrades to come out. It has been really slow with the aftermarket on these so far.

Someone must have a baseline dyno run, maybe someone on the Raptor forum.
