Ok so I just bought a black anodized gt500 billet fuel door for my car used.. I am looking for anyone who has installed one of these ones specifically as I want to verify a couple things

First all other 05-09 mustang fuel doors are held in place by 4 bolts and spacers.. The one I bought only has 3 bolts on it... Is this correct? Did Shelby make theirs with just 3 bolts whereas any other one I look up install instructions online has 4? If anyone knows please advise

Badboy has one - not sure which mfgr.

I like the Silverhorse racing version - best fit and finish IMO.

I love the look of this one I'm just not too sure if it will look good on my blue car.. I did find out that this one is supposed to have just 3 bolts... I might install and see if I like it and if not up for sale it goes

if im not mistaken, the old doors are only held by two small bolts which screw into self tapping threads within the panel...at least thats all mine had when i removed it...but its been a while..

It's all yours Mikey... Sent u an email I think if it was chrome or brushed it would look good on my blue car .. It would look awesome on a black or vapor car... Between my white stripes etc it did not blend in well

and this was a Beth-approved mod. I think it was BlueOvalKid's at Shelbyfest 2009 that she saw and said "you should get that, it looks great". WOO HOO, no sneaking this one in. LOL

Plus, she said I deserved something for dropping 6.5 lbs in the first 2 weeks of our diet, plus one notch on the belt and actually being able to be comfy in my 40 jeans. But more importantly............pre-diet glucose level per my Contour (testing machine): 107. day before yesterday (at the same time of day as the prediet one): 87.

Okay, if anyone buys anything from TJ (and, given that he buys and sells frequently :tease2:), you do not have to worry about packaging. Here is the packaging the fuel door came in..................:wow2:

A few of my buddies got them on there cars,I kept mine "alum.brushed" but if you don't like that look you can always get the door painted, that looks nice too!!
