Ok so I'm getting the new cervinis type iv ram air hood (basically cervinis version of the kr hood) so stripes do I stop them at the scoop like I see allot and I believe the kr is or stripe edge to edge of the hood? Opinions and tips wanted

My stripes on the 07 went to the edge, but they were painted on when the hood was made..I liked it. But in the end it's a personal preference...

I prefer all the way to the end of the hood. Maybe get it photochopped...take a pic of the plain hood and have JD do it both ways.

Nice hood. I would stop them at the scoop (like in the picture on the Cervinis website). This is what I did on my hood, so you can check it out and make up your own mind.

Are you getting the hood painted by Cervinis too? I am not sure if their stripes will match the OEM stripes or not.

Hey brother... Keep this hush for now as I'm going to break it to wifey when I get back home this weekend...yeah I think I will stop at hood scoop..I'm not buying it painted.. I have the guy that's redoing my bumper going to paint etc.. He's a great guy and knows his stuff.. It goes in on sept 13 which is same time when I will be back in lil Cuba again for a week... Stripes matching I figured whatever white stripes I buy for the hood I will buy my bumper stripes from same company so they match...most of the performance white stripes I've seen match ...

If you are going to get the bumper done and hood done, why not get the stripes painted on?

Painting the stripes is not an option at this time.. It would not be prudent at this juncture due to car is a daily driver.. To paint the hood and bumper would force me to paint entire car stripes.. I don't want to just paint hood and bumper and leave rest of car vinyl.. Also I am one of the rare ones that sorta prefers the vinyl stripes.. Thx for suggestion though

That's what I meant is to paint the stripes on from front to back and get rid of the vinyle. But it was a suggestion. Now back to watching the Real McCoys.
