View Full Version : Guy cannot work this site

I spoke to a guy at a show tonight (Screen name Shelbyville I think) who said he can log onto the site, but once he loads about two pages he gets locked out and cant' read anymore until the next day.

Any idea what might cause this?

P.S. He says he's tried three different browsers and even a Mac to no avail.

He had a lot of trouble with the SM site too. I remember it wasn't because of the site - it was something in his internet provider because he finally fixed it and was able to get on there.

My friend Chad is having a similar issue...as a visitor he has no problems going thru threads and pages and seeing all pics.....but after login he struggles with going past a couple of pages.......he uses his pc at work (parts department at ford dealer) so hard to say what is going on.

It's usually a Corp Firewall issue. I have the same problem if I'm logged in at one of our offices, but have no problems if on the same computer on my own network.

..thanks for the input...I will pass it on....unfortunately they really have no good internet access at home other than their phones.

It is funny, a few month after SU came on-line I could no longer access it from the office. We used AT&T at the office and I know there were no blocks here because I would have been the one to set them. The strange part was that I could access with no problem in the iPhone and iPad which also use AT&T.

I changed over to Cox in March and immediately was able to get back on SU from the office (first site I checked). Never did figure out the problem.
