Possibly trading or selling my kr axelbacks.. Any suggestions

Ok so as title states I might try and trade my kr axelbacks or sell and buy yet again.. I noticed since I switched to high flow cats that my exhaust note was sweet first week or so but as they break in it's starting to get louder and louder.. What would be a good set to go to .. Svt-1?? Not sgt or 5gt as I had them... I might still keep I don't know they are just a little noisy at wot etc.. Any suggestions?? Thoughts??

I have basically the same set up as you Chef but with Headers too, the Corsa's are nasty when you want and pretty docile off throttle and offer no drone but the reality is with Hi-Flows your car is going to be loud.

The Corsa's will not make a whole lot of difference.

Corsa's are sweet..Had a nice tone with my stock setup. Diff story when i went ARH, so i got their newer version built for headers. Nice tone during normal driving, but wicked loud when i punched it. Think i still have vid someplace....

I switched from the KR's to the SVT-1's when the headers were installed. Nice deep sound and no drone.

Some people are putting their stockers back on when they installed the hi flo cats and they still had a good tone to them. If you don't like the look of the stockers, add a 4" tip to them and it will change the tone a bit deeper. I did this on my wifes 05 GT and it has a good sound to them. The GT500 is basically the same muffler as the GT muffler.

Ok I am leaning towards trading my kr... May list soon just seem too loud at wot.. At startup my wife even yells to me hey is it loud enough.. The other day one of my managers swore he heard me almost 1 mile away going onto the highway at wot... At cruising low rpm they sound really nice however they get loud and clappy at wot... Anyone know anyone looking to trade some svt-1 or something??may go post at svt performance for takers .. We will see.. If no takers I guess I'll keep em....jeesh it will be my 4th exhaust change:doh2:

Chef, Hi-Flows are loud and they get even louder with headers, the only way to really quiet the car down is to go with the stock exhaust. IMO


My wife hates it when I start the Shelby and bikes too, so I at least roll them out of the garage to start them and I get less dirty looks. :rofl:

I'll trade my stock GT axle exhaust for them.

Although you wouldn't get them until December, but at least shipping would be free.
