I have a nail in my back tire and will take it in soon to see if they can fix it.
Anything special I need to do or tell them at the shop about the tpms?
Also, if I have to replace it, is it necessary to replace the other back tire? They have about 12.5 K on them. Thanks.

Just to be careful when taking the tire off the rim because the tpm is strapped to the center of the wheel. They may have to reprogram the tpms once everything is done and back on the car, although sometimes that isn't necessary especially if only one tire is the issue.

I'm sure they deal with TPMS cars every day. No need to replace the other rear tire. Do you ever race the car? The reason I ask is that normally I'm fine with a tire plug, but I would not risk it on a tire where you may be travelling upwards of 125 MPH. In that case I'd get a new tire...maybe keep the old one as a spare or something. Lastly, look at the date code on the new tire before they mount it...or make them aware you want a tire that's less than x months old. As we've seen, some tires may have been sitting around for years. :yellowcard3:
