Hey guys, did a search and couldnt find anything. Anyone have instructions for removing the center air register piece where you attach the dash plaque? Mine is damaged , somehow got dented, and I want to swap it out. Also, has anyone tried to remove the dash plaque once it was installed? Is it easy to get off? Thanks for your help. - Charlie.

TG has the manual on CD..he can upload imagines/instructions.....if not to lazy....best thing for the plaque is heat it up with a heat gun/hair dryer (careful of the sig) and using thin fishing line pulling it across evenly...that tape they use on it is tuff..but you;ll most likely need to replace it all after its off..if you get the dash piece off first, heating from under it to loosen the tape might work better and prevent any issues with the sig...

Although I've not tried yet, I also need to remove my plaque. I was planning to do two things: 1) use fishing line and 'saw' behind it 2) heat with hair dryer as MC suggested

It's not as easy to navigate as the DVD version, but the end result is the same.

Yeah, changed it out last year- if you hadn't bailed out of Orfstock you would have seen the new one then!!!!:tease2: I actually lucked ot taking the plaque off the old piece- it was already dented so I was able to just stick flathead screwdriver behind the plaque and pop it off. I was able to use the original tape to stick it on the new centerpiece.
