FORD MUSTANG LEGACY AT SEMA CONTINUES WITH POWERFUL, STYLISH VERSIONS OF THE 2011 PONY CAR

Ford Mustang is sure to please at the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) show in Las Vegas Nov. 2-5, where nine Mustangs will show off their performance and style
A Mustang GT by Ford Vehicle Personalization uses a white and coral theme along with several Ford Custom Accessories items painted in liquid silver to give this car a look all its own. Other Mustangs show off themes such as breast cancer awareness and street warrior
Along with customized versions of Mustang, the 2012 Mustang Boss 302 will give visitors to the Ford stand a look at the reinvented legendary road race machine from the late 1960s

The deep dish rear wheels look good on the MRT Custom, a lot of those care are just Artist's renderings, I wonder if the shops will get them finished in time?

Yeah, those look they could be really nice ...maybe CD can get some pics for us ;-) Actually, Ford will surely release some actual pics after the show -- I'll try to remember to check. Those pre-show pics are from the portfolio Ford requires as part of the application process. Cartain 'authorised' builders get full free access to Fords global parts bin. :weg: There's always a mix of Ford 'authorized' and Ford 'sponsored' builds. These all look to be 'authorized' with the possible exception of the first one (Ford Custom Accessories is almost surely a 'sponsored' build). There are typically several Ford sponsored builds but they won't liekly be released until after the show with a possible preview over this coming weekend -- you never can tell what Ford will do. Notice there are no previews of GT500 builds of any kind. If that holds, that would seem to say the 5.0 is where the action will be -- you never know.

If anyone goes to SEMA and can get clear pictures of the floor-stand information sheets with each car it 'telegraphs' a lot of good info. Historically, the Ford 'sponsored' cars (vs 'authorized') portend future styling or even future SE-model concepts. I used to go every year and 'decode' the floor-stand sheets afterward. Ford showed what would be the GT500 in 2005 as a Cobra concept at SEMA with no "GT500" markings, locked hood, and the engine on a stand 25' away as just a Ford Racing 'experimental' configuration ...you nver know what Ford will show at SEMA. Notice that the Raceskinz 'authorized' mustangs sports a rear-seat delete package (almost certainly their new product?), and their raceseats (and an intercooled ProCharge)r. Wonder if Ford Racing will offer similar BOSS-wanabe pieces for the 5.0? What about a Procharger for the BOSS's tougher internals? Who knows, but most everything shown by Ford at SEMA is there for a reason ...some just so the 'listeners' can get feedback, some might preview yet-to-be FRP stuff, some portend future design/models (mostly Ford 'sponsored' units). It's a great 'game' to pore-over the details and floor-stand info sheets. You can almost bet there will be one or two items geared to test acceptance of *some* key aspect of the 2014 mustang -- dunno what, and maybe not (lol).
