Hello Stangs United Folks. I was doing some research on fuel rails and reached this site. Liked the content so I joined up. I have 3 ponies and a 10 SHO DD. I like car shows, events like the Hot Rod Power Tour and Road Track. Once I get past my probation period I will post up some pics.

Cars are:
65 RetroMod GT350 Clone
08 GT500 Red Stripe Vert, Love this cruiser
09 Roush Black Jack. I do Road Track events with this one.
Daily Driver is a 10 SHO. What a great road car that is..

Look forward to learning and sharing! Never too old to learn!

The Black Jack is a great car all around. Looks good, handles like a dream and the brakes are OMG stop me now! I wish it had Nav for my long trips but it is the real deal. Straight line the GT500 wins but on a Road Track I think the Black Jack gives the better performance. It is way more car than I am driver.

I think the first is Gingerman in Michigan and the second is the Autobahn outside of Chicago. The fastest track I do is Road America in Wisconsin. Your engine compartment is very cool!

Thanks....Gingerman is not far from me and I would not have to fight the Chicago traffic. I'll have to check it out this year.

I see there is some good back and forth here along with great cars. Love the 68 pics.

As far as the SHO I have had it 9 months and it is a wonderful car. I traded an 08 STS V for it. When I bought the STS V Ford had no real 4 door big boy car. Now they have two IMO.

The STS V was 469 HP beast and really nice a great straight line car. It handled well in the dry but if a kid spit on the road you were done. The back wanted to be the front and there was NO traction in snow. SYNC kicks Os Stars butt.

For me, a big old guy, the SHO is like a personalized POD. Everything is right there. Out of the hole it is quick but not a rocket. Hit it at 60mph and up and you are triple digits with that mello exhaust sound just like that! Handles in the snow and really is good on twisties! Would love to track it. I did not get the Performance pack with Summer Tires. We need all weather tread in Illinois. The AWD is excellent and the comfort is top drawer.

My wife, my in laws and I put 2460 miles on it in 6 days in October to Mt Rushmore and Devils Tower. 22 MPG average for the trip and the cruise was on 81 mph for a long time. It ate the miles and doing the switchbacks in Custer State Park was a blast! Oh Baby this is a ride!

Thanks again for the welcomes.

The actual 21.9 MPG was for the whole trip. My Father In Law did about 1/4 of the driving and he was more like 75 MPH. I was still pretty happy with the fuel economy. With that 19 Gal tank you can go a long way!

You see my load on the Hot Rod Power Tour. Who ever goes with me is also bringing a lap top and with all the car goodies we pick up it is always a load. I just told BangAstang I want his first new rear seat delete kit for my road trips. We'll load it up!

Welcome to the site Ponies.

I have an F150 that window sticker states 21 mpg highway. After two years of driving, I've only reached 14.1 mpg.

Oh well, it's a good sales pitch.
