Ever wonder what it's like to ride in a race-prepared Boss 302R? Wonder no more. This video (http://email.adsmart360.com/link.php?M=153403&N=473&uid=1723&L=857&F=H) was shot recently at Daytona during the season-opener of the Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge. Ride along for a few hot laps with driver Joe Foster in the #15 Multimatic Mustang that finished second. Experience the thrill of driving 175 mph on the banks at Daytona and the fun of passing another Camaro.

That was awesome video. I wish the Tach would have been functional. I would have been curious to see his shift points.

Thanks for posting.

I saw a show on Discovery or History Channel (forget which) that was about the new Boss R. One of the engineers told Parnelli Jones that the engine was limited to 7500 rpm. I'm guessing shift points were around 7200 - 7500.

Last year at Lime Rock several of the teams we already running the new 5.0s and told birdy and me they were shifting at 7500 and that they pulled like a freight train up to that point. Implication was that there's a bit more to be had.

This is one of the Multimatics on the dyno. Doesn't show rpm but sounds great! ;-)
