I think they will even look better once I get done with the couple things I have left to do. There wont be any gray left on my truck when its done. Oh and there are several black trucks with them I think I might be the first to have them on Blue.

I like those! :wtg:

Are they true off-road wheels (I'm not sure of the correct terminology, but those silver "buttons" grip the wheel bead to prevent it coming off?)

I think you are looking for beadlocks and No they are their street wheels they do make a racing series wheel. They are lighter and stronger that the stock wheels and are fairly cheap. If I wanted to sell my stock wheels i could almost break even.

 Yep, that's what I was thinking.

Thanks - as I said, they look great.

there is a guy on FRF that got the racing wheels and he said he loves the wheels but he is getting tired of having tighten all the bolts every week.

Not bad Trolls....BTW I finally got to test drive a 2011 Raptor today...:yay: ....it was a Blue one just like yours....:weg: ..I was pleasently surprised that I didn't get the feeling that it was such a big truck like i thought I would. In some ways it even reminded me of the Lightning size wise (length and driver's front view ) except higher up and a bit wider....I found it rather easy to get into especially with the running boards.
The initial take off from the dealer's parking lot showed the ample torque of the 6.2 as I spun the tires when I first touched the gas and the truck responded rather quickly...kinda like the Lightning... Now to get some prices.....:spend:

So did the birdy grab the worm on the end of the fishing hook? These trucks will do that to you.

Looks good Trolls........now to shine it up. How is the hndling now with the new wheels? Does it ride any better?

I have never had a full size truck before this and I don't find it hard to drive at all. The Width took a little bit to get used to. The back up cam has really helped me. If you think it feel like a lighting wait until you drive one with a tune. Mike at 5star's tune really woke up my truck.

It still rides and handles great for a big truck. One thing I did notice was I got on it seemed to spin the tires pretty easy. I don't know maybe I was imagining it or maybe its cuz the wheels are lighter.

I love everything about the truck......except...........the 11 city, 14 hwy fuel milage rating I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger because of that along with the fear gas prices will be going through the roof soon given the mid east mess and the fact that our Gov by design refuses to allow drilling and new refineries here at home which makes us all the more dependent on foreign oil ...:banghead:

Same here but the Raptor only gets 1 or 2 mpg less than the 10 FX4 that I drive now.

I'm planning on driving to Fort Meyers Beach in early April and may be driving the GT500 instead of the F150... mainly because the GT500 gets about 6 mpg better than the F150.:doh2:

Driving today from Sioux city to Sioux Falls I got 17 mpg with my cruise set at 80 mph oh and that is with a 5star 91 performance tune.

It's out there for the F-150s. I just priced out an FX-4 with the Ecoboost. Under $40k without too many bells & whistles.

That was really good Trolls. I would be interested to see what the gas mileage would be on the return trip. That is the part that would tell the whole story in case it was all downhill one way.

15 mpg on the way back basically pretty flat but on the way there i was driving with the wind.
