Let me know what you think of them.
I've been thinking about adding the LED stuff to the BVM store but wasn't sure about the market. If there's interest I'll get them added.

Lights wouldn't be considered a "mod" right? More of a safety thing I would say...
A whole replacement kit would be nice...

...they seem to throw a very difffuse lighting pattern (very differnt bulb in same reflector), so may no longer be efffective as fog lights -- but if that doesn't matter it's nice to have the choice of various color-temps.

Yeah, there's no way they have the lumen output or throw of even the OEM incand bulbs, but if you don't use them as actual "fog" lights and rather just for looks, then I think the LED's would be a good choice.

The factory fog lights are useless anyway and look goofy with the hid's... The Led's would look cooler for daytime running lights...

One of my fog lights was burnt out so I threw a set of these in... They were on sale at a local part shop... They don't match the HID's that great, but better than the factory yellow ones did... I never have them both on at the same time anyway... The fogs act as DRL's up here, otherwise they are useless...

That happens when people upgrade their foglights to HID fogs, not just a different type of halogen foglight bulb

Pretty sure that was with early HID upgrade kits... These are halogen...

I hope they last for awhile too... I would have gone to the stealership and just got one factory bulb, but they are closed until tuesday... I can't deal with the asthetics of a burnt out bulb for two days... Lol...

All years can be upgraded to the HID's... As long as you use shorter and cooler bulbs than the ones that were burning the housings... Aftermarket HID kits are kinda iffy though... Been there, done that...

I never got a clear answer on how to do it so I never upgraded.
i rarely ever drive the car in the dark anyhow.

Your headlights are halogen too right? I have the factory HID headlights so that's why there isn't much point in upgrading the fog lights to HID too... I am sure you could upgrade your headights to HID... You could get 09 housings and probably an aftermarket kit that would work... You could get the while factory kit to work too but you would need some sort of harness or hard wiring to connect the factory plug you already have into the hid ballasts wiring... I put aftermarket HID's into my last F 150, but had to replace ballasts and bulbs after a few years... Bought a kit for the raptor, but I am going to wait and get the complete 2013 factory set up with the projection housings...

I take it the 2007s are halogen headlamps, but regular bulbs in the fogs.
bulbs can be upgraded in the headlamps to brighter bulbs if someone knew how to tell which bulbs were brighter.
The fogs are a different story, not even sure how to properly upgrade those.
I don't like the projector type headlamps at all, so not looking to upgrade to that.
I'm not sure what the HIDs look like either, but no need for me to upgrade to that.
Love mine, NO MORE YELLOW!

Looks nice! Did you get the Cree with the fins+fan or the Cree wit he braid heat-sink? What's the light pattern like -- does it have a charp cutoff on top (essential for a fog light) and nice and broad side-to-side? How do you like how they perform, Stacey?

They must have a heat sink, 360 degree light angle... I only use them for daytime running lights, at night the factory hids are plenty of light...

Thanks for the pics! I was thinking of them for the Fusion since we do get some serious fog on occasion but I see they would not work for fog without a sharp upper cut-off. The stock Fusion fogs aren't bad (well controlled) but could certainly be brighter. I also use them for better side-of-road lighting at dusk since that's when deer are on the move. The Fusion has them sitting in a large cutout else I'd consider fashioning a 'cut-off' cover for the top half ...the Mustang's smaller opening would lend itself much better for that (if used for fog).
The Fusion won't permit fogs + high-beams at the same time (tho I could probably re-wire for that if I had to) but if I turn the fogs and high-beams on together, the high beams get priority such that if you dim your higbeams for an oncoming driver, the fogs will temporarily 'replace' them ...handy at times, especially if you need to get another drivers attention by flashing the high-beams.
