Only if I can get rid of the six cylinder stigma. I think the last 6 I owned was a 93 F-150.

I wonder how it sounds?

I wonder if the eco boost will make into the raptor. You are not giving up much and for the majority of the people driving the Raptor it seems like it would be a really good option at least......For me an ecoboose 6.2 would be good :)

The Caddy was our rental while Beth's Infiniti got paintwork prior to trade in for an unfortunately timed golfball strike.

Oh, and..................excuse the pollen.......tis the season down here and since the paperwork was done at 8pm last night and we hadn't agreed on trade prior to my arrival, they didn't do the detail on it for me (Beth can bring it in whenever....likely when the mudflaps come in.......for detailing and in the meantime, I made them detail my car as part of the process. I hope they hit the battery terminals.......).

More shots to come later.

I've taken mine on about three long trips now, CT to Pittsburgh 20mpg, CT to Lake george NY 18.5(into the mountains), CT to Cape Cod MA 21mpg, (all with the AC on). Average hwy speed w/o cruise control was about 65-70mph.

Average around town MPG is usually 17-17.8 mpg.

Driving style has a lot to do with it IMO.....just sayin :shades:

Try resetting the computer and starting over. I try to keep the rpms around 1800-1900 in 6th gear, seems to work the best there.

I am offiicially impressed with the EB F-150.

I went to Montana and back flogging it pretty hard, 80-85 mph, mountain grades and higher altitude. The acceleration was absolutely impressive going up a 6 percent grade a 6000 feet with three guys, their luggage and other junk.

We only managed to get about 19 mpg average for the trip, which I think is excellant given the speeds we were driving.

That's pretty darn good! :wtg: My 4.0 Ranger X-cab is 2000# lighter, smaller, and less than 1/2 the HP and still only gets the same mpg at 80.

I think the only offer 3.15, 3.31, 3.55, 3.73 and 4.11's.

3.55 seems to be the most popular choice from what I have read.

Either way, that's a good trip.
