I sold my bud the KR axlebacks I had for $260, and we installed them tonight... He gave me a bottle of Rye after too, so that was cool... Worth getting my hands dirty... Worked up a sweat too, those suckers were a bit of a pita...

He has the shaker 500 stereo, so we also put the sub amps and sub in his car... The factory plug was there but turns out the shaker 500 head end doesn't power up the amp and subs :doh2:, tuesday we will swap it out with my old one...

:yikes: ...actually, it's probably not going anywhere as long as it's in "P" and the rear wheels are solidly chocked, but the skinny plastic is a bit :yikes:-looking. Yes, that's what I said!! Reg ramps won't work because of the slope, but I can build some stands that follow the slope and lift it high enough to be level... I think about a foot... Another problem is there is only like a foot or so of space to work with on the driveway between the garage at the back and sidewalk at the front... He wants it level on the driveway so he can open the sliders...
As it is, if someone cranked the steering wheel for some reason, it could drop...

I got the droopy exhaust tip fixed too... When the car bottomd out and the exhaust hit the fays2 bolt on the rear end it bent the rear pipe... Chris cut out and replaced the smacked up area and straightened it all out!! Was a good road trip...

We decided not to put cats in it, he wasn't sure if they would change the tinny note I get at 3000 rpm... I didn't want to lose any other way the exhaust sounds so I left it alone!!

It was an easy fix for him Dan!! Free of charge, even though I still gave him a hun and said to take his wife out for dinner at least...

Yes, the snubbers hit, you can see the marks... The bolt from the Fays 2 hit the pipe, dinged it and even bent it out of shape, thus the droop...
