Do you like it still? Are there any things you would want to chance (would you prefer the bigger cab or the smaller etc.)?
I am still looking at these very closely and though I suspect my wife will win the triathlon and I'll end up with a minivan for her I'm going to actually need a new car for me at some point. The crappy jeep will remain a family member at the cabinand eventually be a nice first car for the boy but I am wondering is this a truck that everyone feels does what they want? I won't often get to drive it in the dunes but will see plenty of snow and it will be a daily driver for me. Gas is not an issue working from home but comfort, space, and ease of driving, and looks are....and I like the power too.
I'd appreciate any thoughts from those that have a Raptor. Mine would stay mostly stock (where have I said this before).

I still love my Raptor. It is the most comfortable truck I have driven. I have all the space I need in it but you would need a crew cab if you plan on taking the family along. So far I have not had a problem taking extra people along but I am also not as tall as you are. The towing capabilities is adequate for my needs. It tows the Shelby and trailer with no problem. The crew cab will get you an extra 1K pounds of towing over the super cab and you'll get about 1 MPG less. I would rather drive the Raptor and tow the Shelby on long trips because of the comfort factor. Mine is still stock and I don't really plan on doing any performance mods on it. The 6.2 puts out a bunch of torque. The straight line performance in a truck like this is really good. With the winters in your area, just like mine, it will get around nicely. The truck is a little higher off the ground than a normal 4x4 and with the extra width, it feels more stable. There are now options that can be ordered that were not available in 2010 that you might want like that I wish were available when I ordered mine.
I did notice that Any Mohr and Rick Skillman has some in stock. Go and take a test drive. If you decide to order one, let me know. I know someone that is taking orders for the 2012 model year and he can get you a great price. There have been others that have used this guy and it can be delivered to your house. He keeps you updated every step in the process and is very knowledgeable of this truck.
I hope this helps and let me know if I can help you out.

I can only echo what Greg has said.
I already have just under 10,000 miles on mine and love it.
It has plenty of power, turns a lot of heads and is fun to drive.
The "clunk" was driving me nuts but that is no longer an issue.
If you buy one, you won't regret it.

I would love to have a Raptor, but not being able to fit in my garage at the house would be a huge issue to overcome. I'll stick with the Platinum for now and really like it as well.
The Raptor would be a heck of a vehicle to own. Still rare and distinctive as well.

I've been eyeballing the Raptor for some time and like what I see.
Unfortunately I'm going to have to wait awhile, but having the Eco Boost engine available might push me over the top. I understand the current Raptor is only getting mileage in the 10-12 range.

That is in the city. The highway is 14-15.
