2013 Boss

[/URL]More details are emerging about the 2013 Ford Mustang (http://www.mustangheaven.com/2011/2013-mustang-boss-302-to-get-sync-hid-head-lamps-and-4-2-lcd-message-center/2013mustangboss302_green/) Boss 302 and these ones I think you’re gonna like. So far we have learned the 2013 Boss will come in five colors (http://www.mustangheaven.com/2011/school-bus-yellow-and-gotta-have-it-green-could-be-2013-mustang-boss-302-colors/): School Bus Yellow, Gotta Have It Green, Grabber Blue, Performance White and Race Red. Now we have learned the refreshed Boss will come with a SYNC system, HID head lamps and a 4.2″ LCD message center with MyColor.

I think the HIDs are a welcome addition for travelling/touring and SYNC is also such a sweet convenience. I believe the adjustrable shocks were already std on the '12 and just so nice to be able to switch from track to touring settings on that too From all the reviews, the existing Boss 302 is pretty much a to-die-for true-GT, so a few light-weight (lol) improvements are in order, imo -- especially the HIDs ...and I wouldn't mind the addition of some quality fogs in the grille for touring too. Imo, these cars are to be enjoyed and I can't think a better thing to do with 6 weeks of my life than to tour the US National Park System with one (for the fourth time ;-)) -- oh, yeah!! :banana: :grin:

An acquaintance of mine bought a 2012 Boss. He complained that sync and hid headlights weren't available.

I saw him last night and mentioned they are now available in the 2013.

He also was sure the 2012 was a one year run.

The reaction was pretty funny.

Friend of his has a 70 Boss and is the original owner. Car only has about 40K on it. He has just received his new Boss and now has a matching set.

You're in luck, Greg! 2013 BOSS is available in black (code UA) but stripes are low-gloss sterling grey reflective (855) ...all other colors get low-gloss black reflective. Saw a 2013 black LS on the rotisserie at NYIAS -- very sharp!

65SC should be forced to sit in the corner for scaring me like that. I think Henry Ford would roll over in his grave if a Ford was not offered in Black........it was his favorite color after all.
