2 the strips that are on the roof. $230
3 One tire $350
4 Seat cover $210

+1 about warranty...........you past the 36k? I haven't had any unexpected issues (aside from Beth curbing it and causing 6k of damage..................but insurance and my monkey skills covered that cost). Tire? Summer tires suck. Did you have to replace it due to wear or did you have an unfixable damage to it (hard to blame a tire failure on the car). Fortunately with Beth's accident, I was getting 2 tires replaced by insurance already and since i negotiated the price of the replacement parts, I was able to save back enough to cover replacing the other 2. She was about 20k in and worn pretty thin. I went with all seasons with a mileage warranty.

The drivetrain is only 3/36 but, aside from the tire maybe, why aren't the other things being covered by the 6/60 bumper-to-bumper portion of the warranty. Wasn't that still in effect at the time.

My wife is driving the wheels off this car. We have over 50,000 miles on it. I purchase a extended warranty and so far it hasn't covered squat. Payed to much for it to. The tire was still in great shape. The tread was split on the inside about 3/4 of the way around the tire. Its a good thing I had it in for a oil change. It still had 8/32 tread depth. Ford didn't step up and fix the seat cover in the first place :fordfail: The car runs great so far mechanically no problem. it's the little things that are making me mad.
Dan the 6/60 is powertrain and 3/36 is bumper to bumper which is why they should have replaced the seat cover free. That happened at 30,000. They denied it first time.

How many miles do you drive it a year? Isn't your office like 200' from your house? Besides trips to see the kids at KU and K-State, where else are you driving it a lot?
Does it need to be another truck?

A little Focus ST with a big motor sounds good or a Fusion with a big motor or a Mustang with a big motor.
Or maybe a Focus and rip out the big motor and put in a bigger motor.

I like the size of the truck, but just think they missed on the front end of the new F150. In my opinion, they're f'ing up the front end just like they have on the entire Lincoln product line. The Navigator needs to be a study in what NOT to do.
I put on 20,000 miles a year for typical work travel. I currently do a 3 year lease for my work vehicle. I may go back to a 2 year lease this time around.

Tim, what about the Flex (http://www.ford.com/crossovers/flex/?searchid=30651341|342241977|5938074852&ef_id=ULOvjgAAF3vheia9:20141027002304:s)? I drove a '13 3.5EB last summer and was genuinely amazed (3.5EB) not just the power but the handling and overall comfort. Has gotten some very strong reviews lately, cleaner monotone styling (silly two-tone roof -lol- is optional) plus nice to have the refrig for the Coors Light. ;-) Also, you can just let down the tailgate and flip the 3rd row seat to face backward for instant tailgate party  ...plus the door sills sort of don't exist (hard to explain) so your pant cuffs never touch dirt when you get in/out ...even in bad weather. One reviewer (Pop. Mechanics, I think), liked it so much he went and bought one (the Lincoln version b/c his wife didn't like the styling on the Flex version). Anyhow, I was impressed with the visibility and seating comfort and postion too. With the rather high ground clearance and full-time 4x4 with 100% dynamic F/R torque biasing and left/right torque vectoring up front it makes it quite nimble considering it weights over 4400# and a great winter wagon. I would love to drive one cross country on a national parks 'tour' ;-) I'ver read the 4-wd 3.5EB Platinum goes for about $42K and that you can't touch any Euro wagon with equivalent function for at least $20K more. Anyhow, just mentioning since more than one reviewer has said things like in a class by itself and definately deserves another look.
