View Full Version : Convertible top removal?

Anyone have any links or videos on how to remove a termi top?
Everything I find is for removing or installing the material only. I need to know how to remove the entire top frame and all for transfer over to my cobra.

Going to remove it and bring it home tomorrow.

Do you want to remove the whole cloth piece or the whole structure? I did my 94 and I am sure the instructions would be close to the same. Let me know and I can e-mail that to you.

Done! Took about 1.5-2 hours with special care not to damage anything top related.

Holy Yikes. There's not much car left. That will be an enormous amount of work.

Is that the one that was in the picture with your Shelby in the driveway? What did you do with the fronts seats?

No, the one that is stripped is not mine. It was an 03 termi. My 01 Cobra build is almost done with phase I
I actually have my original seats still as I was thinking of selling them.

Ok will do. I need to get the rest of the money to replace them and get a rear seat delete so may take a bit.
I wonder how to ship and how much that will cost. Drivers seat is heavy since its full power

I have some pics from when I initially was thinking of selling but buyer backed out as he got sponsored seats.
