I thought i was done with the mods on the car and probably try to pic up a nice 03-04' Cobra next summer...Then started thinking on new mods for the car, have a few things in the works right now plus I'm also thinking to get the SS "flat black" stripe painted, always loved the SS look...can't wait for spring now :waiting2:

good luck...MrFarmDog makes them as well, better quality than Shelby's/Ford, and im sure cheaper than paint too....he even provides spacers to get alignment right....just a thought....

I always thought the SS stripes looked very sharp. I also like the SS hood a lot too. :shades:

could be a alternative going with the vinyl,if you don't like them at least you just pull those off and go back to white!!

Full vinyl stripes is much harder to do than it looks.
Even a professional can have issues w/ them.

That will look awesome Pat. I would get a quote for both paint and vinyl. I think you would be much happier with the painted ones.

Very important to remember is that the stripes are not the same width on the whole car.
They widen from the front to the back.
That is what sets them apart from cheap looking stripes IMO.

did some research, and found that 07-09's have a 14" stripe with 1" gap then another 1"stripe,that's also what Jeff gave me once for measurements...if anyone knows differently i'd like to know!!thx

I don't know the particulards on the SS stripes.
I would confirm such as the measurement at the front of the hood to the measurement at the back of the hood.
Measure your stripes to see what I mean.

Our stripe(dual stripes) are "tapered"..not sure if this is the right spelling...that much is true but for the SS,what i found so far was these measurements..will def. be sure of this before doin them though!!thx for the help Bill!! :tiphat2:

Yes, tapered is what i am referring to.
Not just a measurement at "one" point on the car like your link shows.
Alll I'm saying is to confirm before it's to late.

Both would look awesome but I would go for the decals instead of paint...just because it would give it a more authentic look, just my opinion though! Did you ever see Serge's car? ( charcoal GT500, i dunno what you call that color lol) He got the SS decals made in flat black and they look great!
