Anyone looking for a challenge on a rebuild? Found a rebuildable starter project that would get a person into a GT500.

Tough to look at some of the shots.

With a salvage title, top dollar might be $20K, there is no room for repairs if someone actually goes for the reserve of $16K

Nope, I think it would be a loser deal all around.

I agree Carnut, the cost to fix it would exceed the value of the car easily. They did not state a salvage title. That car needs everything except for an interior.

look at the back quarter panel i bet the body is bent. The motor isn't even sitting straight it leans a little right. That was a hard wreck. only driver side air bag deployment. Those arn't cheap ether. I wonder how many 07s are still on the road. People sure wrecked a lot of them in the beginning.

My Opinion: No salvage title only means that the accident wasn't reported to the insurance company. The guy is trying to cut his loss by selling the car and get it off of his policy. I see a kid causing this accident. The body is a loss. There is no way to fix that chasis without spending a TON of cash (more than its worth). The drivetrain are the only parts worth having out of this wreck, but you could almost get the same price for the engine from the FRPP catalog - with a nice BVM store discount of course.

Someone should buy it and put the engine/tranny in a track car if the added weight wouldn't totally throw the front to rear balance of the car off.

That is awesome.

Do you usually leave a tender on it?

Longest I ever had a battery last was about 7 years.

My current battery only lasts about 3 weeks before needing a charge, dang electronics or alarm really sucks it down.
