Picked up a set of used JBA shorties about 18 months ago. They were in pretty rough shape. Cleaned them up this weekend, and painted them (still need to be heat cured, but all done!). Literally just completed unmasking them. :)
Done up with VHT Flameproof Primer (SP100) and VHT Flame Proof Orange (SP114).
Both good to 2000*. Creates a ceramic coating once all the heat curing is done.
They are actually a bit darker than the photo shows, but the finish is **** near flawless.
Just need warm enough weather to install them now!
Too bad no one will ever see them... but I'll know. :)

Nice job, Rod!

How are you gonna heat cure them? I think Jen would keel you if you used the kitchen oven. :rollingpin:

We have had the discussion... it didn't go well. The recommended method is on the car. 20 minutes idle, 30 minutes cool, 30 minutes idle, 30 minutes cool, 30 minutes regular driving, 30 minutes cool done.
Oven is easier... 20 minutes @250 cool for 30, 20 minutes @450 cool for 30, 30 minutes @650, cool for 30... done.

What will they be installed on?
Comp Orange 04 Snake!
