For the steering cap, cut a thin piece of cardboard and place it under the rubber insert. There should be no hole in the top of the brake cap. I believe the new design moved it to the side. If it's on top, plug it.

I don't think so, it is basically hit an miss, most of the issues have been with them breaching under heat and pressure but there is a new Blue KR (which has these caps that says KR on them) sitting in my SVT dealers showroom and one will not tighten, just spins and SAI is making them send that one back for before sending a replacement. What a joke.

Hopefully you got a good batch.

I really like them and have considered the GT500 ones but I would be very tempted to run with my stockers for the coolant tanks in my trunk if I got these. Getting stranded just because of a faulty cap would not be cool. JMO
