Never heard of that brand, George, but it seems like a nice product!

Are you considering for the truck ...and/or doing some planning for the '13?

wonder how it compares to 3m's clear bra that came out not long after the shelby's....could be a nice experiment for the Eco....

Don't have that brand, but have another that I have on my front bumper and the front of the hood. Has saved me MANY rock chips from the look of some of the marks on the film - though there is NO damage to the paint underneath.

I believe it was this mfgr - http://www.xpel.com/

I like that the stuff George posted is a clear-coated product ...or at least it seemed to say it is -- dunno if that means automotive paint clearcoat.

I'm also not certain on the UV transparency ...Plastic has to reduce UV, imo, but possibly it just doesn't reduce it much, hence fading might then be somewhat similar to surrouding paint (they imply identical).

Just wondering if anyone knows or has experience with this stuff, don't think I would want it on the Shelby, not confident in it.

I would have put the clear bra stuff on years ago if I knew what I knew now.

30,000 miles later and lots of chips from road debri. :nonono:

As long as it's not as expensive as what I have heard?

Oh course the main hit on my car was following Van at Daytona at 165 miles per hour. :nonono:
