Rarely do we feature cars without a stated asking price as Hemmings Finds of the Day, but we’ll make an exception this week for a pair of Shelby-built Trans-Am Mustangs with killer credentials. First off is the 1967 Shelby Mustang (http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/dealer/ford/shelby_mustang/1168656.html) above, VIN 7RC1K188183, powered by a 395hp 302. From the seller’s description:

Someone will need a fairly sizable checkbook to take that one home.

Awesome car.

:wow2: Love to own that 68 Boss 302...No doubt!! Can't imagine how much that would go for.

Didn't even know they made the Boss 302 in 1968.

my next mustang is going to be a 1969 fastback restomod at some point. I really like the look of that year its my favorite one.

The 67-68's are my favorite models, but the 69-70's are a close second. :chirp:

One of my neighbors who has an 07 vert just bought a 67 fastback this week... can't wait to see it.

I like the 69's the best as I like the scoop just fwd of the rear wheel, its not on the Boss but I wouldn't buy a real boss anyway to restored it.
