2013 Ford Taurus SHO Performance Package First Test
"We've finally gotten our hands on the 2013 Ford Taurus SHO Performance Package, Ford's top-performing Taurus, and it is one mean track machine -- albeit an unlikely one. Standing over 5-feet tall and weighing in at 4400 pounds, we have trouble imagining anyone choosing this decidedly plus-sized sedan for track days, but anyone who does won't be let down. Whether they're racing them or not, roughly one-third of SHO buyers have been opting for today's $995 Performance Package, though we're told these buyers tend to live in southern states where summer tires work year-round and the roads are smoother."
