I need to remove the battery from the Shelby. Is this just a simple Remove and Replace or is there something special I need do?
Thanks

...nothing I'm aware of. If you're replacing the battery (vs leaving it disconnected temporarily) try to have everything ready so it's only disconnected for a short time (a minute or two likely won't reset KAM if there's no other drain on it when disconnected (no lights, radio, etc on). Worst case, if KAM resets then it will have to re-learn idle and re develop its sensor masks (no biggie) over the next couple drive cycles.

The battery will be removed for about 1 hour and then reinstalled. I wasn't sure if there was a certain procedure I had to follow, I didn't want to do anything that would mess up the cars computer.

Don't put a screwdriver between the + and - posts.

Other than that, you should be fine. :look:

Simple remove and replace.

You can keep it out a while and it would clear some stuff, don't remember what. Lol

Shouldn't effect anything, and radio presets should be saved.

 yup ...every respectable redneck and back-country off-roader keeps a few welding rods, battery cables, and a high-lift jack tucked away for just such boon-dock repair needs

.....never have had to on mine?????????? changed out the battery, plus had it disconnected multiple times to fuss with the throttle body, etc..........you do have to reset the time and radio functions such as speedvolume etc, but not channels. also be prepared to look at low air pressure light for a bit......
