Today I'm bored and decide to swing by the local Ford dealership since I know they're closed and I won't get hassled. Big mistake. I walk around the lot and got to see my first 2013 Escape. Color me impressed. It was a nice looking vehicle. I was a little surprised that the engine is sourced from the UK but I suppose that translates to a UK/Ford made engine (it was the 1.6EB). I was a little shocked at the sticker price of 28K.
Now here's where I made the mistake. After walking around the lot I'm like let's go take a peeky at the showroom floor (through the windows of course since they are closed). Well, I finally got to see a 2013 GT500. It was a slow on slow color of black/black. :giggle: It did look sweet though. Love the new wheels and the car looks menacing with no radiator grill.
Then I saw it. A 2012 BOSS in the fastest color of course, blue. :shades: They had a tag hanging from the rear view mirror and I could see that it was a one owner car with a little over 3,000 miles on it (and it even said that the car had been bought from that dealership). Here's where I about did something illegal. The price was 29K!!! At first I was like :frolic: and then I was like :doh2:. That seems like a pretty good deal for 1 year old BOSS with just over 3K on the ticker. I'm sure the 2013s are hurting the resale values of the 12s but that still seemed pretty good. And no, I couldn't get a picture because of the reflection on the glass.
