Trying to figure out, can these be mated up to the JBA hi flow catted xpipe I currently have? If so, would it be much custom work to do so?

You "can" do it - but it would require a lot of custom pipe work.

That was my thinking......still, a set of the headers for $550 seems ALMOST too good to pass up.

good deal but plan on coating them first then install is likely $600+ (and worth every penny on these cars). Make sure the gaskets are included too or you need those prior to install also.

yeah, gaskets and o2 extentions are included. That install you think includes mating it up to my current JBA hi flows? I'm figuring it's worth picking them up and holding them for that proverbial rainy day. The way I'm looking at it, I had bought the FRPP coated shorties for 175 and sold them for 550. So in a weird way of thinking theory, that would make the cost on these only 175.

They're in CT...........maybe a little birdy could inspect them for me.

Depends on the shop but probably not. You might as well get a full 3" system then cat back too :)

So, what you're saying is, buy these, put them in the garage until next bonus payout time. :waiting2:

pretty much.

Coat them first! Then when ready to pony up for the install have thefull system as needed. I liked my Magnaflow 3" with thehigh flow cats best of all.

As for the cut outs I've been slackingandhave not got it for th store....I'll getitby the time you are ready for an install. ;)

So it'll be there in 8 months??? LOL

I have an email into Jet Hot to see what the cost of having the 2000 Black coating done. Might as well aim high, right??

These are still on my radar (thought they sold earlier this week, but just got an email back on them).

So, here's my question. And please don't laugh if it's a stupid one, as it very likely might be. Can you run straight pipes vs x/h pipe on these cars? Trying to gauge out how much custom work would be needed (obviously straight would be less work).

You CAN, but you wouldn't want to.

H and X pipes actually help get more HP and TQ than just straight pipes.

There's a few write ups on the web about it.
