So after I did the engine compartment there was water/soap spots everywhere so I did a good cleaning on the outside and then wiped it all down with spray detailer and microfiber towel.

Because the Simple Green is pretty harsh detergent I'm assuming the "wax" was removed from the areas that got splashed - the front fenders and bumpers. I wasn't up to doing a complete clay bar and Turtle Wax Ice Paste treatment yet (the car doesn't really need it yet) so I finally opened the bottle of Liquid Ice and went over the whole car. It sure spiffed up nice!

The liquid is no more work to apply than a complete wipe down with spray detailer. I applied it using the sponge they supply and then polished off with a couple of microfiber towels. The first one does build up and clog so you'll probably need two or three. Wipe off the haze with the first towel then polish with the second. It took about 1/2 hour to do the whole car from start to finish. In the sun the black paint does show some hazy spots where you inevitably leave a little behind so I keep a towel and spray detailer with me all the time.

The Liquid Ice is not a substitute for a complete clay bar / paste polish treatment but it is a good touch up between sessions.
