Does anyone know a source to get a copy of a TSB?

Ford TSB 12-10-19

Supposed to cover the bad intercoolers on EcoBoost trucks.

I/C's are condensating in cool rain and cutting the trucks off when going to pass vehicles. :surprised:

...cool!...

I was reading somewhere that the TSB calls for the catylist to be replaced too but that dealers are 'testing' the catalyst and not replacing it if it tests ok, but then those 'fixes' are re-experiencing the shuddering/hesitation problem again and when ALL the components the TSB calls for are eventually replaced (including cleaning the intercooler, I believe I read earlier), then the TSB is reliably successful. Just mentioning from memory in case any of that matters -- not sure where I read that.

This has happened to us a few times.

the conditions have to be just right for it to happen, very dangerous when it does because the truck shuts down.

This is now the 3rd main concern w this truck, we are getting over it.

we have a transmission leak we are trying to track down also. We are thinking its a bad converter. I have some dye to put in the trans when I get a chance then back to the dealer to pull the trans and follow the leak. :nonono:

these trucks don't have a trans dipstick so there is a "procedure" to go through to add the dye. :banghead:

I wish more and more that we kept our 2003 F150 :nonono:

If your truck is still under warranty then just take it to the dealer and have them add dye and find the leak. So far I have been lucky no major problems with the SHO. i do have chrome coming off the back tail light. Maybe if they slowed down the production line a little some of these problems would go away.

I have the dye. It needs to be added then run for a couple hundred miles.

The least I have the dealer do the better. I'm taking it to a dealer I hardly know since the other dealers here are a bunch of ******** in the service dept.
