I'm waiting for the one that says "Tob may have diarrhea and is in a hurry to get into the bathroom here at Home Depot" so I can park close too.

This may seem like a stupid question, but if you know of an illegal alien why not contact the Police and have them arrested for being illegally at large?
After their arrest would that not put them in a cue to be on the next deportation plane out of the US?
If you do not have a Visitor Visa, Student's Visa or landed immigrant papers and you are stopped in :canada: by the POLICE, you are F*#@ed!

I don't know of any, but I guarantee you I could find several in an hour. Just walk into 10 restaurants most anywhere in the US and do a surprise papers check of the kitchen staff (with the back door surveiled) and you'll find plenty of illegals. From all I've read of the food service industry it's not all that much different in Canada, tho less overall for sure. The food prep industry in the US is riddled with illegals. In most major cities (including NY, Las Vegas, LA, Chicago, Phoenix, Atlanta, etc) there's an unwritten code: before a papers-check the inspector calls -- all the illegals then get to take a half-day off. When a legit check occurs, the inspector is initially greeted by front-of-house staff and asks for the registrered contact -- owner or exec-chef. A call to kitchen by staff uses a code-word and the illegals are out the back door in 60 seconds max and, of course, there's no one to trap them because they really don't give a $hit -- they're just doing the mandatory occasional check (and prolly getting paid on the side too in many cases ). It is pervasive -- and common knowledge in the food pre/services industry. Even 'formula' up-scale chains and top-tier big-name restaurants hire illegals all over this country since they are actually under no burden to clear them except to 'see' papers (phony, of course -- cost $25-100 in any big city) ...that's it. You would not believe the 'name' restaurants who have illegals preping your food. So, I guess you could say illegals are a pet peeve. We've ignored the issue for so long that ripping illegals away from their legal families is socially and politically very difficult to deal with now.
Depending on whose stats you believe, there are somewhere between 3 (known) and 20 (estimated) million illegals presently in the US.
...anyhow, I was just having some fun on pet peeves -- like a sign so they can park in a special spot, etc. Hey, we give them everything else for free! Food stamps, subsidized housing, social security, ER care -- even spending money and subsidized education ...maybe an 'Illegals Parking' spot isn't such a bad idea -- anyone who parks there is breaking the law no matter how you slice it, so then you get to check!

Don't believe everything you read about :canada:, most of the back kitchen food service in :canada: is made up of SE Asians and Sri Lankans, tough to illegally cross the :canada: border when there is an Ocean in between. These people have came to Canada legally or claimed refugee status. and fill most of these menial kitchen jobs and pay their taxes. Without them our Restaurant would be challenged to operate. IMO
There are almost zero Mexicans in :canada: in 43 years I have never heard Spanish spoken in :canada: in a public place, school, business nor a university. Which is maybe one of the reasons spanish speaking people prefer to stay and live in the :flag2:
That said, how can so many illegals be in the US? Nowadays one needs a passport and to submit to a fondling, just to visit the USA. Have most illegals in the US arrived before 9-11, before the border became more secure?

Glad to hear you watch for that. I never hear of anyone getting ticketed for this in my town. You can go to Wal-mart on any given day and probably half of people parked in them are doing so illegally. Most seem to use someone elses plaquard.:cop3:

I got a twofur once. Got two people parking in one handicap spot. Neither one had a card or plates! They were related too. That was a fun one!

...and then there are so many who have the tags/card and are not really handicapped ...just obese ...or worse since it's easy to convince certain doctors to sign the papers for a variety of questioinable reasons (the most abused has to be shortness of breath). Most of the folks I see -- with the tag -- parking in those spots have no apparent handicap of any kind which is a shame since there are folks who really legitimately need those spots. It's become a game around here.

Couldn't agree more. If they need the spot for a legit reason then they should be able to use it. Not some punk that didn't want to walk an extra 30 feet.

For sure. I think 1/2 of the spots are used by young people who took Grandma's card to hang in the window so they don't have to walk far. It's a shame when the spots are gone for those who really need them. Pisses me off to no end.

...I also love the ones who have the tag and fake-limp into the supermarket, than run to grab what want, checkout, and fake-limp back to the car.
In ny there's a 800# to the state police for wreckless/drunk driving ...you can dial it and give them the plate number and they'll go find them and pull them over. Maybe we need a number to report these too. Could probably do it with no human intervention just by dialing an 800# and keying the license# (and handicapped tag# if visible). The numbers that turn up the most might warrant a visit by the local police and when the police cruise parking lots they can check and see if any 'abusers' plates pop up if they choose to check. There's no app for that! -lol.
