Where to get new electronic key?

Ok so I have to go to Walgreens at 10 pm last night cuz my wife got stuck there. Seems the fancy electronic key with the chip inside literally fell apart and her 2010 V6 vert wouldn't start. Local Ford dealership quoted her $200 for a new one. Wrinkle is we can't buy a generic and program, bought the car used and it came with one electronic key and one key with fob. Apparently you need one key to program another?

Anyone know a cheaper route?

Not an electronic key though.

You do need a good coded key in order to program another without going to a dealer though?
