As we look forward to the looming introduction of the 2015 Ford F-150, we greet the fourth and final model year of the F-150 SVT Raptor with open arms before it likely goes on hiatus.

I didn't realize that either.

My GUESS is that it's proven the market/interest and may then come back re-engineered and fully-integrated into the F150 production line-up ...but who knows?

Interesting that GM has shown one-offs on the last several annual show-circuits, but has never released a Raptor competitor. I'm now wondering if GM has a formal offering in the wings. If so, it would make sense for Ford to take a break, re-integrate the Raptor and come back with a vengence. That's what I'd do -lol

Speaking of 4x4s ...a Raptor come-back could ten be the ideal time to more broadly exploit the investment in those specialized components -- maybe on an off-road 4x4 Expedition and/or Bronco and/or ??? package(s).

67k is comical when a used 5.4 is 30k (or less) now, throw a Whipple on it and you'll have a badazz Raptor, for half the price of the "Special Edition" nonsense.

The 6.2 Raptors have better options than the 2010 5.4's... They just keep getting better every year!! Put a whipple on a 6.2 and it will beat every 5.4 whippled Raptor...

Actually, it would beat most cars too...

I have not seen the red seats at all around here yet. I'm not a fan of the interior but I like the outside. The lights are nice on my 13 but I probably will need to put on the fogs at some point as even with HID's on a rainy night the visibility is not as good as i would like right in front of the truck.

I would be first in line to trade this in if they come out with a Bronco version. I don't use the full bed enough to justify it as nice as it is when i need it....and SUV just fits my lifestyle better. Love the truck - but really want an SUV and if they really want to make me happy make the rear window go down into the tailgate so the dogs and put their head out in the back.

The trouble is getting a nice new car is becoming so expensive....I can only imagine what they will want for a Bronco by SVT! And I know Ill pay it too....dammit
