But I can hold my head up proudly and say I've been with them through good times and bad...for about 40 years now. I can't stand these people who are a fan when their team is winning, then they don't talk about them 3 years later when the dynasty is over. If you don't know who the left tackle is for your team....well....'nuff said.
Hey at least you have a decent QB now, Jason Campbell.

Been busy with school, kiddo, etc. ...and I wouldn't say harrassing. : )
After Napa, spent some time in da 'burgh, and right before the semester (and school for the kiddo) started, took a day trip to the Outer Banks with some friends.
School was keeping me quite busy there for a while...not so much now. Breathing easy until January when spring semester starts.
Speaking of breathing easy, I did quit smoking a little over 7 weeks ago now.
Keith and I have been to see Ron White and Jeff Dunham.
Little Debbie

...took another day trip to the Outer Banks with Keith and Eric, this time, in the Shelby with its top down.
We also cruised one day down Colonial Parkway from Yorktown to Jamestown just to enjoy the day and check out the leaves changing color. Took Eric to play miniature golf and arcade games afterward.
We did make the annual venture out to the Neptune Festival again at the boardwalk...and then got rained upon.
Eric recently was in the local Veteran's day parade with his Cub Scout troop.
Endured the hurricane and missed the earthquake entirely.

Awesome on the stopping smoking.......................I'm glad I never started. Our annual enrollment for medical/dental was announced yesterday. We are going to a new wellness based plan. Also, we are no longer going to have a no-premium plan for employees (I guess we were one of the last that didn't charge premiums to employees, just for spouses/family. Biggest change is that they are going to implement a wellness plan with biometrics. This year is a basis year, so we get lower premiums just for participating. For a family plan, the lower premiums amount to around $245/month. If you opt not to take part in the biometric stuff, it's an additional $40/month. If you're a tobacco user, you're screwed. Monthly if you partake in the biometrics is over $600/month!!!! Fortunately, I don't think any of my co workers are smokers, so likely won't affect anyone, but I would say that would be a big impetus to quit.

Holidays in Carneros is something I'm wanting to attend. Its a 2 day, wine tasting event, hosted by the Carneros wineries. My friends and I will be attending this next year. :yay: It will be the first time that we're all able to be somewhere together. Part of that weekend is a Flavor! Napa Valley. :yay::yay:

This does sound like fun! Have you decided to enjoy the train while there?

It probably sounds silly, but ice skating at Rockefeller Center. Never been to NY or ice skating...could see doing that with the kiddo and then taking him to the huge toy store (?) I keep hearing about and set him loose! : ) While there, a trip to Central Park with a visit to Strawberry Fields and the zoo. A dining experience at Butter (Alex Guarneschelli's restaurant) would be nice as well.

Keith, a good friend of mine is the head concierge at Helmsley Park Lane (right across from central park on central park south). I'm sure he can set you up there at a reasonable cost (reasonable for Helmsley, anyway) and since he's the head concierge he can help arrange anything you want (broadway shows, evernts, etc) to see/attend while you're there. PM me if interested and I'll give you his direct line and tell you when he's there, and you can see if it's good for you.

We're trying to decide.. I'm arriving Thursday morning but have a "rendezvous" scheduled with a "friend". The others arriving Friday AM we're all leaving Tuesday morning. We'll see how much we can fit in. I Want to do the Major Flavor Napa event Friday night. then wine tasting in Carneros Saturday / Sunday. haha not sure how much time we'll have.
