Easy install, took me about a half hour... I also have a BMR adj front sway bar to install but I left it off for now... This weekend is the last two track days of the season, removing the sway bar shaves 14 lbs off the front end!! The BMR and factory sway bar both weigh the same...

Front sway bar removal and addition of the BMR rad support = 22 lbs off the front end... The BMR K Member and A Arms also removed 31 lbs off the front end, so total weight loss = 53 lbs!! Plus all the fast of replacing black with Red...

I could also get this now, Chassis Brace, Radiator Support

http://www.bmrsuspension.com/siteart/products/CB004_small.jpg

"In 2011, Ford added more rigidity to the front end of the Mustang by adding a brace between the radiator core support and the k-member. When enthusiasts replace their k-member with our aftermarket k-member, the OE brace can no longer be used. BMR has come up with a solution to this problem with their Tubular Chassis Brace. It is backwards compatible on 2005-2010 models when using BMR's RS003 Tubular Radiator Support."

Very nice :wtg:

easier to to get to stuff too!

What is the ride like compared to stock?

Harsher? Noisier?

Gotta be much quicker since you removed all that black stuff! :wtg:

Waay faster now!! I couldn't tell any difference in nvh, mind you the only part of the suspension that still is stock, are the springs!! All those mods combined, totally added a bunch of nvh...

Race car though, so it's ok... LOL!!

that bolt does not fully extend past the self locking nut...need to fix that...you should have at least 1-2 threads beyond the nut....

The strut nuts are a pita, you have to hold the end with a 8mm wrench while tightening the 18mm nut... I don't have an open ended torque wrench to set them at 85ftlbs so I hope I got them tight enough... Will have to keep an eye on that...

It's 3 way adjustable, I put it in the middle hole to start...

They sure cheap out on painting the under side... Pretty big job to spray bomb it though...

Tommy Gun

I think Badboy did his.

At least they sprayed the protective coating on it, that grayish greenish coating.

Top of the car is painted not just for looks, but for UV protection, guess they figured you didn't need UV protection under the car. Lol

Besides, more paint just adds extra weight to the car.

Did you ever add this chassis brace?

Do you think any of the front end changes add any extra noise or harshness?

Didn't add the extra brace, more weight and not needed to go straight!! Noise and harshness wise, does it really matter?

Harshness no, but don't want to hear constant bumping...my stock suspension makes enough noise over rough roads.

And no, I'm not buying a bigger stereo. lol
