Absolutely, traded the old for new last night....:yay:

This thing is sweet....:weg:

much the same as the old, except four doors, upgraded NAV/SYNC MyTouch System,

seating this time is heated and cooled up front, and rears are heated....:weg:

elec folding mirrors, newer style wheels...HID headlights with tinted covers..

aside from that, pretty much the same...but runs smooth....im pleased, and got it cheaper than the old one with assist from my friend at ford and utilizing the x-plan....:weg:

Cool color. The A/C seats will spoil you, you will have to have them in all future vehicles. Lol

You're ready for Sebring considering Ford's win with an EB motor.

I am curious how the millage will be compared to TG's truck. Did you get the 4x4 thats what I want. How do you like MFT. I wonder if its better thasn plain SYNC which is what i have. Personally SYNC sucks to me.

we've had the MFT in both the SHO now and the Explorer previously. I like it. But if you have a radar detector, get it hardwired.............the cord will ping off of it no matter what you do (short of taping it to the trim). My search now is for a mount that will work with the big trim behind the mirror.............

Performance wise, mounting a radar detector to the visor sucks. Try one of these, they work very well.

Alas...............i have a nice trim piece surrounding the mirror mount so such a nice piece would not work. I'm not sure what piece of technology they have in the trim piece whether it's related to the adaptive cruise control or BLIS or what.

...maybe an LCD to display compass bearing -- if you have that? Or was it possibly a dealer add-on?

...so there's no little 'barrel' shaft visible between the window mount and the mirror assembly?

Mike, you probably noticed it, but they do make a version specifically for tapping into the power leads of an existing compass mirror so no wires to run ...you ran your superduty year/model thru their compatibility checker?

It's for the SHO...........truck doesn't need a radar detector. No barrel shaft visible. hard to get a picture of it..................just looks like a black square from the outside.

There is a mounting arm on there somewhere, I am sure of it. The blendmount will work for you. I will go look at a SHO at the Ford dealer if I have to prove it to you.

You may need to take a hard look to see it.

Found this at SHO forum ...Blendmount reportedly fits a 2010 but apparently not some others -- link (http://www.shoforum.com/showthread.php?t=126176) Might be worth calling them ...maybe they have a solution by now or in the works?

Everything Tucker does is nice and that is a nice looking cover :wtg:

...that said, and maybe it's just me, but I absolutely abhor friggin' engine covers!

Looks nice, took long enough to post pics :trouble:

I agree w Dan on why we have covers? I feel they just kill airflow, increase heat, and diminish the longevity of rubber parts underneath ...and sure there are other issues. When at the track I feel like pulling crap off to help the cooling.

That would be a good idea. As a matter of fact what exactly does it do besides cover up the mechanics of the motor. glad the GT500 doesn't have a cover

...especially since Ford has beautiful DOHC heads to look at. Ford should never have covered the 5.0GT imo, even tho it is a minimal and tasteful perimeter-cover.

(vs GM covering up their wannabe pushrod antique engines :rofl3:)

Yea not a fan of covers either, but the eng isn't much to look at either. Maybe I'll get him to do the air tubes to match....
