Wash, rinse dry as desired...
Yes, it does lift grime and tree sap without wiping...

I could only find two of the four factory hood bolts, so I had to use the longer ones that came with the steeda kit... I didn't want them to come thru the hood so I used some big washers... Had these black with pearl powder coated ones!! Used them until I can paint some washers Red!!

So spray the foam on the car/under the hood and then rinse it off without scrubbing it and it gets all the dirt and bugs off?!?

I like! The gaps probably make them work really well. Nice that they're color-coded to so if you're doing 'stages' across multiple areas you can keep things straight ...sweet!

Is that guy even in business anymore? I really liked one of his products but can't find it...can't recall the name but I have an almost-empty bottle in the garage so I can find out later.

Showcar Steve!!
Thanks!
I don't see products listed, perhaps too much trouble for little profit selling. But after looking in the garage, it's not his stuff that I was talking about...I was mistaken. This is the stuff I like...see below. It's great for when you washed the car a few days ago and now just needs a quick wipe down...really makes the car look nice! I'm going to buy a bottle or two.

Picked up some new wax, decided not to go with swissvax, I never noticed any difference using the super expensive stuff so I am going back to Chemical guys... I want to try their Lava wax on the Torch red paint...

I just put Turtle wax ceramic coating on my car. I did the Shelby with some Adams strip wash to remove the old wax. Wash 2 times then polish out some of the swirl marks then put 2 coats of coating on the car. It looks nice and I don't have to wax again for at least another year. I just did the 99 crown vic which sits outside. I hope the coating does what they say it does. Super easy to put on and the cart looks slick.

I read somewhere that the true ceramic coatings (the ones were a few ounces does dozens of cars :). or at least one ) reacts chemically with the clear coat. Thus the only way to remove it is to actually polish the clear coat layer down a little. That is what a good detailing does anyway (like I had done on my black cars after two years), but the depth is the equivalent of three or 4 details. You don't get to do this often.

You have to watch the paint. If you look it's not perfectly smooth. But the more you polish the smoother it will look. There comes a point where you cant polish anymore without removing the clear coat. This ceramic coating was super easy to apply and they say it will last 1 year. I do suppose it's different than a professional coating. which may last longer. On my Shelby it should last longer because I never wash it. My Crown Vic may be different. It needs to be washed n ow because they are working on my yard and the dust is everywhere. This produck was cheap enough and i trust Turtle Wax. They have been around a long time.
