Below is a post I made to a thread on TeamShelby back in 2012.
.
Poll Modifying the 2013 Shelby GT500 (http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php/topic/72370-modifying-the-2013-shelby-gt500/)........16 Jan 2012

.
.................................................. ...........................Always room for improvement:
3.4 Whipple
1 7/8" Kooks long tubes / catted X pipe
80 lb injectors
FRPP mono-blade throttle body
Adj.UCA, billet LCA
Some track rubber & lite weight wheels
SCT flash / custom tune @ JDM......................that ought to about do it !! "
.
......................At the time I had no plans of buying a 13 Shelby & didn't buy one.

On 17 May 2013 I ordered a 2014 Shelby. During the 112 day delivery wait, the " plan " I had posted 27 months earlier got modified a little.
................................................( set some goals )
.
1. If I parked the 2 cars side by side, & opened the hoods, it wouldn't look like bookends.
2. The 14 would have to make more hp than the 11.
3. The 14, like the 11, should have a distinct look to it.
4. Do the above for less $$$$ than I spent on the 11.

Love it...do you find that you can't get the power to the ground though? I have that issue and I'm 100hp below you lol.

.
To use it all would require dedicated track rubber, which I have for the 11, that doesn't fit the 14.
.....................( rear tires, 30 on the street, 12-15 @ the track )
At this power level, there isn't a street tire I know of, that will prevent the tires from breaking loose.
The tune changes the driving dynamic enough, that I don't need to get in it as much to feel the new ponies.
...( not sure that makes sense to you )
