I'm sure I could try to find out online, but with the wealth of knowledge here I thought it might be quicker to pose the question in this thread.

Is it possible to adapt the stock blower from a 2007 GT500 to fit on a 2015 6.2 L Triton? As I went to the TVS many moons ago, I've has one sitting in a box ever since. My initial guess is no.

If it is possible, I wonder whether Blackshelby would have a useable tune available for it?

Thoughts?

Is this what you were thinking, Orf?

I think you'd need the speacialty manifold and lower intake, etc even if you had an extra TVS, if that' swhat you meant.

No. I'm not looking to put the TVS on a 6.2 L. I'm wondering if the stock GT500 blower is compatible with the larger Triton engine. I also have the stock TB from the GT500, which might help. I would probably need to add an intercooler, and have the PCM seriously reprogrammed.

Likely more work to go that route. Quicker and easier to go with a turn key set up.

For sure ...fitting up a suitable intercooler would be a major headache. The whole 'tub' the intercooler fits into has to mate up to the head ports and te TVS so I believe that would have to be a 6.2-specific piece. Since the flow of the GT500 intake is well known and probably adequate, tuning would likely be fairly straightforward assuming all the other systems are capable of supporting additional power: MAF, injectors, pumps. Blackshelby might have some specific insights but I haven't heard of anyone doing an ryo retrofit like this -- yet -lol.

They make a TVS kit for it, seems that getting all the parts except the supercharger would work...but a bit of research and work.

Possibly Roush would sell their kit minus the TVS tho I think they changed the snout/pulley on the latest iteration for Mustang so this one might be a tad different too which could affect belt allignment. Also the GT500 intake might not mate up since they also improved on that ...dunno.

Seems to me, a call to Rousch might tell all.
