No prob just change the oil earlier :doh2: ....doesn't sound like much of a real solution ...how about machine the part correctly :rofl3: ...maybe they're doing that now :look: ;-)

It would appear that they don't wash the block after machining. I wonder how long it takes for that material to get in the tiny bits. I'd be so mad if my car blew up after 1,000 miles and $100,000.
Did you also hear that GM is going to have a Buick built in Japan and shipped here. They said that they sell a lot in Japan but not so much in the US. I wonder what the UAW thinks of this idea. We have all seen the commercial where the guy can't find the Buick in the parking lot. :lol: There is a reason for that. They look just like every thing out there BORING.

That's one of the reasons I always do the FIRST oil change way before the normal interval...never know what's floating around in there.
