New EB engine?
"The Continental is powered by a new, 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine with 400 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque."
So only guys like Carnut and Danny?? http://nflfans.com/x/images/smilies/6eE2WZp.gif
"Quirky ads featuring the actor Matthew McConaughey helped spark interest and lower the average age of Lincoln buyers to 58. That's down from 68 three years ago."

It is a stunningly beautiful car in person ...fluid and elegant. It drew huge attention at NYIAS facing off opposite Bentley/Rolls where, crickets were chirping by comparo. This new Continental should be very successful. But I'll still take 5.0 GT
I think the new 3.0 is a variant of the F150 2.7EB ...sort of like the 3.7 mustang is a variant of the 3.5EB, except the 3.7 isn't also an EB -lol

The All-new 2017 Continental ...stunning in person but a lot more than meets the eye ...fact sheet click-thrus are interesting in how Ford is positioning for luxury market. This is clearly the RWD Lincoln many have been waiting for.
Can this 400HP 3.0EB be coming to Mustang ...or might (tho I hate to say it) the Mustang chassis be coming to Lincoln in a few years ...you can't go to a car show over the last three years where the Lincoln folks don't acknowledge (when pressed) they get that request all the time ...a performance Lincoln coupe -- complements of Caddy's success in that segment, no doubt.
I bet Ford will say NO, but I also think the longer term ( MY19?) answer is YES. Jmho

...thought you were referring to the 400HP/400Tq 3.0EB in the new Lincoln ...which is a V6.
The 2017 MKZ AWD will also get the 400HP EB -- that could be a very nice driver!! ...but the FWD version of the MKZ will only get 345(?)HP as I recall.

Could there be a high-end hi-po Lincoln coming for real? Could Ford accelerate the next Mustang platform (S650) a couple years to accommodate it? Could a Caddy V-fighter be mutually beneficial? I think so!

Pictures don't do it justice -- the car is stunning in person!
Classy, flowing and clean -- a genuinely masterful design for it's segment.
