Surely way overpriced -lol- but I was impressed that they have tried to make a real splash in celebrating the 50th anniversary.
For the first time in a long time some of the offerings are actually quite nicely packaged -- tho in mag reviews their mustang-based offerings never handle very well (bolt-ons without package-specific engineering will do that).
And the GT40 re-pop is pretty sweet!

A well optioned GT40 will run you about 200K then you have to add engine/transaxle for another 40K.
They say they will be CSX badged, but all of the originals were Pnnnn (ie, P1075, somtimes P/1075). I believe this is a Superformace built car and they all have a VIN of GTP/nnnn
They say there will be a limit of 50, but Shelby offered an 85th birthday GT40 and never sold more than a handful. The premium over the Superformance sold car just isn't worth it to most people.
I like the MkII alot more than the MK1. Those snorkels just look so cool.
