Not.......it is still at the rail yard. :doh2: It is really ticking me off. It has been there since 6/1. I am not sure it is off the rail car or not. I'll have to call Ford Customer Service again tomorrow.
That sucks!!!!!!!!! :boxing:

While I was in NC with Momma D, we stopped at the Ford dealership and checked out two different Raptors. Me likey. An orange 5.4 and a Blue 6.2 that was fully loaded. Momma D really liked the Blue 6.2. She said it was "Cute".
I can see why you are Jonesing so bad to get your Raptor.

And it's not accumulating any miles. That is another way of keeping the mileage down.

I called Ford Customer Service yesterday to see what the holdup was on my truck. The kind lady taking the call said that it doesn't look right. she said that I should have had my truck already. She opened up an investigation to see why my truck has not been delivered yet. I recieved a call this morning from the investigator and she said that I should have it this afternoon. I asked what the holdup was and she said that the truck delivering my truck broke down. Just my luck but how long does it take to get the truck fixed? She told me that if my truck was not delivered by noon today that my dealer is going to go get my truck. If things pan out right, I should have it in my possesion by tonight. They will have to install the light bar on the front first but the dealer doesn't see a problem in that. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Now for the interesting part. My dealer called the trucking company and they said it would be the first delivery this afternoon. That could be at 3PM in which case, they won't have time to install the lightbar and lights that was ordered as a dealer install item. In that case, I would have to get off work early tomorrow or wait until Friday. :doh2:

They should have their shop guys work some OT to get that in today. Least they can do for you.

I'm not faulting the dealer, they have been doing all they can do on this. If I have to wait another day or two, so be it, I have waited this long already.

BTW, did you ever get your other truck sold or is it part of the trade in?

They took it to the auction a couple weeks ago. They were expecting to get $35K for it and ended up getting $36,700. We agreed prior to that that we would split the difference over $35K. The auction comapny took their $300 commission and we split the $1,400. Plus I'll be getting back most of the credit life and extended warranty. The payments on this truck should be very reasonable since they are giving it to me at around invoice.

Good news my azz. They still haven't delivered it. I think the driver might be a little ticked off about calling to see where in the hell it is at. It is only 40 miles from the rail yard to Hermann. I am a bit upset right now. I think I am going to call Ford and have them give me some go fast goodies for all the pain and anguish I have gone through. This is going to reflect on their evaluation when I get one.
Sounds like someone driving a truck needs a swift kick in the a$$. I'd be livid if I was in your shoes. In fact I'd probably be out there looking for the truck carrying my Raptor.
Oh well on the other hand I've always heard that good things come to those that wait.

I would do that but I am stuck working right now. It has been a day from hell at work and this on top of that. I need a VACATION............:yikes:

That's why they're call "independent" contractors.
That's the same reason I never send food back in a restaurant. Passive aggressive behavior...

That is insurance on the loan if I become disabled or die before the loan is paid off.

So what you need to do now, is save up all this pent-up anger & take it out on the open road to Orfstock.
You arrive fully de-stressed & ready for the festivities.

:lalala:We don't want to hear excuses. We want you at Orfstock.
Tell work they can call you & one of your crack(ed) associates will be able to assist if you are somewhat too drunk to speak coherently.
