GT350R Stripes

Is it true that you cannot get some exterior colors on the GT350R with stripes? I tried to configure a Race Red with black or white stripes but it won't let me...keeps moving my base color to black? something wrong with the website? or do they limit the stripes to only certain base colors?

Dave, if I recall right from the Order Guide, you can get stripes with any color but not all stripe color combos (there's an inner and two border stripes) are available with all colors. I think I posted up the 2016 and maybe also 2017 Order Guides in the GT350 thread (one of them -lol) ...if you can't find it, tell me what colors + stripes you were trying to do and I'll see if I can find my hardcopy of the guide ...I have it somewhere in my office here.

Stripes are optional so I guess they bought a built unit tho the black w/ flat/thin-red looks nice! ...my bud will order his stripe-delete in Magnetic to be as incognito as possible -lol.

Stripe delete is my next option, painted on stripes are the bomb!

I guess Ford's website is not working correctly then, as I could not get the Race Red to accept ANY stripe colors...it came up with a dialog box saying I had to switch to the slowest car color...black...to get any stripes. I was trying red car with either white or black stripes.

I was wondering about that ...they did rinse it down good but stuff's always in the air.

....they could just cut them out with the razor knife :giggle:
