Nice video, very powerful. Thanks for posting it, I will share it with my frineds. Seatbelts do save lives. I have walked away from several severe crashes because of using my seatbelt. I was also a volunteer firefighter for 10 years in MD and I saw many accidents on I-95 where injuries/death could have been avoided by wearing a seatbelt.

That is a great video, hopefully Angie saw it, she seems to have an aversion to seat belts.
I actually started wearing my seatbelt when I bought my 73 pontiac. I liked the way the seat belts back the 70's were, they would hold you in your seat.

...boy, for some reason that brought some tears to my eyes............too many folks die needlessly for the lack of proper restraints....
to this day, every time I pass a certain curve on hwy 63 north of rolla, mo....(I was a vol fire fighter while going to grad school) I remember a young army mp we had to remove from the interior of a car that had a frontal collision......dead, and so many broken bones, etc that carrying him up the hill was like carrying a sack......awful memory and yet one that is a good reminder to wear seat belts.......Rick....don't stop hounding your daughter on this one, plus what she does will set the tone for her boys......John

for sure, it drives home the message that if you don't do it for yourself, at least do it for those who love and care about you.

Having worked in a clinical environment for a number of years I realized how many people do not wear seat belts. One click can certainly save a life. Far to many people think it is a nuisance.

One of the saddest things I ever witnessed or saw come through the ER, A mother was driving to the store which happened to be about 2 miles from their home. The kid was in the back seat (7 yrs old) playing with her dolls. Some dufus did not stop at a stop sign and t-boned the mothers car. The little girl ended up being thrown around in the car like one of her dolls. Her face was almost cut to ribbons from the glass from being thrown out the passenger window onto the offenders hood. Besides her face, she ended up with a broken leg and arm

We have to wear seatbelts here... It's the law!!
Same here in the US, but it's one of those laws like illegal immigration that is selectively enforced. Sorry had to do it.
